Pentagrahams make the most devilishly delicious s'mores. π€πΌ
That's what she said?
Oh, youβre right. I meant:

No, those are Tolkien rings, not token rings.

Alexander Pentagram Bell.
That pinout angers me more than it should.
Ok, every connector has four pairs of wires going to it, so it COULD be wired (more) correctly, it just isn't...

Literal star topology.

Fully-connected network or something idk
threw up their hands at the thought of having to migrate due to instance dumbfuckery again
that's real as hell. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the fediverse needs a better way for users to move instances. Not being able to do so will make people less likely to do so in case of an 'instance gone bad' (cough elon cough) scenario.
how that happens on the technical side? I have no god damn idea xD
I don't subscribe to a lot of meme communities. And I guess I have been less active in general around here the past few months.
Now that you mentioned it though, thinking back there has been a sudden stop of posts from !linguistics@mander.xyz etc that I should have noticed. Let's do my usual copout and blame ADHD.
Bit of discussion in this thread
You didn't notice the lack of sciencey memes in the past few months?
2 months ago ? How come I haven't realised it. This was the first place that got me into me. I would scroll there even before making a Lemmy account.
Is there a post about this somewhere? That's certainly an interesting story
Felt this way about lemm.ee :(
