"I think he learned his lesson" - Susan Collins
Oh no, hope Spez still has money to maintain a cadre of slaves on a billionaire island (since he's a natural leader and everything)
I haven't used reddit in months, but i do the same thing where I delete accounts periodically. Last I observed, new accounts start out shadowbanned. Some subs tell you they won't let you post with an account that's too new or has too little karma. Others just hide your posts silently (shadowbanning, of course.... not necessarily site wide though). One thing I found that helps is to make new accounts periodically then don't use them for 3-4 months.
Great news. The NM race was also won by a Democrat by a large margin, which is less surprising.
I was really surprised to see that Nick Begich looks like a total douchebag
Do you mean, would I prefer if dentists choose to vote? Or is it in the interests of dentists to vote, or whether dentists should be allowed to vote at all?
Yeah, that's still being naive. It's not like Republicans really run on cutting social services - they always talk about saving money but one would think they know that cutting social programs would be deeply unpopular once their cretinous constituents actually noticed. Of course, they'll manage to blame it on Democrats somehow if there's a backlash. I think they feel like they cemented power firmly enough that they don't really have to care about votes at all (hopefully not). True that in many areas people are just "I'd never vote for a democrat!" as if it's unimaginable. Lots of propaganda and cultural indoctrination.
Republicans in Congress high five each other every time they vote to get rid of the ACA.
Melendez says he’s been completely disappointed by Trump because of cuts to federal programs that have gutted health departments in the Valley and made insurance coverage harder to obtain.
Republicans have been champing at the bit to cut medicaid, VA and medicare for years, while also resisting any sort of reform of the medical system in general. What a surprise I guess?
I don’t think he can pardon them, but he might give them some of our tax money.
About time this absolute jackass faced some negative consequences
Who said it was? I'm speaking of my personal experience as someone who lives there. So the notion that one would vote for an imperfect candidate to block a fascist from taking power is not unfamiliar to me.
Lula doesn’t really stand a snowman’s chance in hell of winning this election.
oh, ok
