It's unfortunate in this game you can only turn right
The upside to immutable is you can't unintentionally change the system to break it. The downside to immutable is you can't intentionally change the system to fix it, if it somehow does break from updates
I think they should just create a policy where unmaintained software gets removed? Or flagged where it's easy to filter out.
Most AI slop just gets abandoned, but a real developer who wants to maintain FOSS software long term with some AI assistance is quite a different thing.
doing A : B testing with that toggle. It's definitely hard to see it as anything but a UI downgrade.
The toolbar icons have a blurrier look on my computer on Nova? They just look worse too imo design wise.
He didn't invent a programming language. He designed a framework for a programming language. I assure you the second one is a lot easier. It's like a library of functions and class suites that make programming quicker and easier as the boilerplate code you'd have to write is done already.
They specifically aren't vibing it though.
As they say it's useful to find vulnerabilities which is true.
And as far as code they said:
Frontier models are very good at finding bugs but it requires an experienced developer to babysit it and extract the useful portion of the output. Important bugs are often found but mixed in with a bunch of low quality output.
Which is the opposite of vibe coding.
It's fair to dislike any LLM usage. But it can have value. But it's often coming from unethical entities like OpenAI and Anthropic etc
Another problem though is the best Flatpak store Bazaar's Flatpak version is broken due to Ubuntu apparmor. There are workarounds but they don't really seem to be doing much about it. There's a deb version in the repos but it is currently very out of date as its a newer app with fairly active development
Why are 100% of your comments shilling for Organic Maps? Just curious.

Despite being advertised as a community-driven project, key decisions, including financial management, partnerships (with Kayak, for instance), and the inclusion of proprietary components in the code were made by a small group of shareholders, often without input from the broader contributor community. These shareholders have reportedly used the project’s donation funds for personal expenses, like holiday trips, raising serious concerns about financial transparency.
Which is why they forked CoMaps.
262 views.. good shit.
I would recommend in this situation:
Use Firefox or similar browser that has the ability to create container tabs
And open your school email in a dedicated school gmail container tab.
Then limit the container to just the dedicated sites. At least you won't leak your browsing to google any more than you have to.
This add-on is needed to do some extra features with containers on firefox https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/multi-account-containers/
I had only really ever played Sim City 2000 and 3000 but man the art on that screenshot looks like absolute peak of pixel art on old PC games. Like I don't know how you could get more detailed while retaining that aesthetic.
