Why then do they all invariably give such a definite date rather than something like "next five years" or "next decade" or even other dates like "2028/2030/2031/2032"? Somewhere a decision has been made about this date. (Historically, we know that World War One, for instance, was actively planned and prepared for for a number of years before it happened.)

Military "experts" (Chatham House, ex-top brass, etc) have said 2029 for war for a number of years. It's been arranged with the enemy after tiffin on the Riviera.

Capitalism's Praetorian Guard. Every company has this disparity to some extent: pay a handful more, gjve them medals and status in order to control the mass who are forced to work for a pittance.

Wow, the CPGB (Scotland) seem have moved a long way from their pacifist, kumbayah Eurocommunist days. I don't give them much hope of success when this 22 year-old strategist keeps notes and plans about NOT keeping notes and plans in case the police find them. I suspect he was in a cell of one in an organisation of one.

Wandavision was all hype and Agatha All Along was beyond cringe. Utterly awful. I'm not sure why all fantasy and science fiction movies and tv have to be cgi-heavy sentimental slop these days. But this is where we are and likely where Schaeffer's Stargate will go (if it's ever made).

Maybe the Greens should prioritise the environmental aspects of their politics and TACTICALLY place social domestic issues second to those (though work to show how social policies link with environmental ones). The right-wing media has been able to hijack Green foreign policies and use the anti-semitism strategy they refined against Corbyn's Labour. Green's haven't pushed back hard enough on the "populists" label they've been given and the idea they're a mirror image of the far-right.

The electorate isn't the same as intellingent, aware politically interested people. Half of the electorate are half-asleep at the best of times and just want someone to tell them who to vote for. They expect Greens to be "Green" and, the Green Party does need to take this into account. At a time when the climate crisis is the worst we've experienced where are all the protests? It's like there's been a decision not to make a big deal of this and channel protest into electoral work instead. I'd be interested to know if this was actually the case.

Patriotic Platform's organiser, Danny Tommo's history is worth knowing.

Despite his working class pretences, Tommo's from a privately-educated backround and was (briefly) in the Army as a tank driver but was medically discharged without ever seeing any active service. He seems to have got involved with drug-related criminal gangs and was jailed in 2016 for two years for a botched knifepoint kidnapping. At some point after leaving prison he found God and Tommy Robinson and has travelled up and down the UK involving himself in anti-immigration politics. Tommo's "handpicked" masked blackshirts include many men who have criminal convictions for violence, including domestic abuse.

    Tommo's said about himself:

“everyone deserves a second chance..I now go to church every Sunday and pray for forgiveness”

Matt Goodwin, Reform UK’s candidate in the Gorton and Denton byelection, will not face a sanction for leaflets that omitted the party’s imprint, after a high court judge accepted this was due to an inadvertent printing error.

Reform admitted that it sent about 81,000 leaflets to the constituency’s voters from a “concerned neighbour”, which did not state they had been funded and distributed by the party.

Haven't they pulled this stunt before?

    Xiami Bootloadee (feddit.uk)

I've spent a long time looking for info about trying to circumvent Xiaomi's locked bootloader on a Redmi tablet.

My son forgot his code and Family Link prevents the tablet from allowing the usual data wipe factory reset. I've tried to get support from Xiaomi but all they provide is generic unhelpful guides.

Has anyone found a tool that can override the locked bootloader just to factory wipe it? While it's not an expensive tablet (£90) it's fairly new so very annoying from a parent's point of view.
