I had to click back to the main github project page, vs the linked release page, but it did finally cough up this info:

"DroidDeck brings the SteamOS experience to Android: Valve's Steam client in Big Picture on your Adreno handheld, with Windows games through Valve's ARM64 Proton."

Anyone got any bag suggestions? I tried to look some up at one point and threw my hands up with all the bad reviews, they worked a few times but eventually if you open/close it a few times it started to leak radio signals.

If they can get a few phones that everything "just works" I think Nura will be better for linux enthusiasts coming from android. I have a Fairphone 5 with Gnome Mobile installed and it feels at home, and a very similar UX with how in would use a phone under android, with how apps are switched and how the phone interacts (pull down quick settings for wifi/GPS/notifications, etc) obviously android is more polished with features. But I like it better than Ubports UX, and I'm not a fan that Ubports has to have custom made apps while also not supporting flatpaks.

Though both are a success for getting linux ecosystem on a phone, so I'm not hating, I just prefer the UX and apps support of a project like Nura better.

This breaks down for professionals that are self taught though. For example, I still to this day, say in my head "F-Stab " for fstab, instead of "F-S-Tab", and various other terms I learned when i was learning linux myself when I was 13. Didn't understand at the time that it stood for filesystems table, so f-stab is how I pronounced the term in my head. In the UEFI case, I'll just pronounce each letter at a time, U-E-F-I.

Yarrr this was 1 of many reasons why I canceled Netlfix. At some point I was watching a movie that had a scene where the main character was kayaking at night and ran into some trouble. Due to their compression, (not only the 720 resolution), I literally couldn't see what was happening in scene, it was just a bunch of giant black and grey blocks moving around the screen. I decided right then I was done paying for this shit.

At that point I'm paying for content that's worse quality then when people used to cam new releases in theaters back in early 2000's

Any configuration recommendations for volume normalizing 5.1 audio for 2.1? Movies and tv shows always sound terrible for me since I just have a soundbar, and center channel voices are always too soft with explosions and ambient sound too loud.

I also have a Fairphone 5, and hoping the work will trickle down, if not, it would be super helpful to kinda have your thoughts for how you did your work for each piece of rhe FP6 so people can try it themselves with their own hardware. I've been meaning to start digging into getting more stuff working on my FP5 but haven't had the time, or honestly expertise yet.
