I think the idea is that we can see the impending accident, when the guy on the ladder reaches the step, which is not a step, and falls down?

Personally, I find the humor in these comics to often be quite difficult to understand. But even so, I always like it when they pop up in my feed!

Technically I’ve done this, I even went without a wallet and nearly forgot my passport. Then again, I live in Denmark, so driving south for a couple of hours lands me in Germany. Technically an international journey, but not what you meant I think 😀

For some reason, my brain insisted on reading the title as if there was a comma between “abandoned” and “as”. I was like, has this man been abandoned by the baby which had somehow lost and then found again it’s birth family. Very confusing for a while there 😀

I’m going to be honest that your “infatuation”, as it were, with all women seems fairly extreme to me. I do look at all people as they go by, and might think to myself “damn, she was cute”, but for me that’s about it. I might steal an extra look, but only rarely.

As you say yourself, you think they notice and I think you’re right. You also mention that you don’t like it but just “let yourself get away with it”. Maybe it’s worth trying to not let yourself get away with it? Make a conscious effort to stop? Self improvement is possible and even quite rewarding at times! And self control doesn’t come naturally to the rest of us either. I wouldn’t think this kind of behaviour is particularly healthy for you, but that’s just my two cents. Best of luck!

I don’t know if you really don’t get the reference, but if you don’t (or other people who come by this comic don’t), for once I got the reference! (Insert captain America meme here… :D)

I believe this is referring to Attila the Hun, the famous warlord/conqueror.

I would have to say EES (Engineering Equation Solver), as I’m a thermal engineer. Or potentially MATLAB with the CoolProp installed. They are quite brilliant tools, not to mention fun to work with!
