@A_norny_mousse @dpfoss Does this mean #Droidian would also likely work?Asking because I heard the UT installer has an option to installer Drodian...#UbuntuTouch

@firedragon Agreed. Ubuntu Touch is worse than Ubuntu where you can still use flatpaks and debs.

@kent_eh @Snoopy Which continent are you on? I'm pretty sure @purism, @furilabs and @mechasystems will all ship there, although Mecha's device will need the upcoming LTE module to use it somewhat like a phone.

@Auli @jcs I'm daily driving a #Librem5 with #postmarketOS and everything really important works for my use case, including legacy unencrypted phone calls (VoLTE), SMS messages, 4G data, Wi-Fi, web browsing, email, #e2ee comms with #SignalApp, #DeltaChat, #Matrix, #XMPP, latest apps from #Flathub, etc. Even running many Android apps with #Fdroid and #Obtainium work via #Waydroid although I tested that on #PureOS, not #postmarketOS.Sure it's nowhere as fast as mainstream Android phones and has only basic camera support, but then those aren't my priorities when looking at #freedomtech.

@TrickDacy @DrDystopia Try #FLX1s from @furilabs

@itsfoss Paid feature includes no phone number requirement? Getting out wallet.#Signal #signalapp

@itsfoss Thanks for covering this. I'd like to suggest doing a write-up on #URnetwork, an #OpenSource decentralized VPN. Android client available on #Fdroid.#FreeSoftware #VPN #dVPN #p2p #p2pVPN #privacy #surveillance
