Aside from Fortnite (family time), Total War Warhammer 3, and Wardogs, I've transitioned from Windows to living in Bazzite.

I feel greasy whenever I have to swap back to Windows and I stay there as little as i need to.

Give it a shot, its relatively intuitive and Linux gaming has never been better thanks to Steam and Proton.

"Oh so you're for changing the gender of a child, but not for renaming a lake."

Yes you dumb bitch, one of those is being overseen by a medical professional with consent of the parent, the other is a wannabe dictator throwing a fit and trying to antagonize our closest allies.

Conservatives deserve to be slapped every time they crow about freedom while expecting to casually limit the freedoms of others.

I've never been able to successfully run Total War: Warhammer III on my Bazzite pc... until today.

Zero artifacts, runs with zero issues. Didn't work on proton 11 prior to today.

    This is awesome.

The propaganda riddled mind... "he's only going for the criminals my brother isn't a criminal why was he grabbed off the street like he was?!... yes i voted for Donald Trump... who is the one doing this"...

And still unable to make the connection. He voted for racism. Trump told him he was going to do this. What did he think "MASS DEPORTATION NOW" meant when he saw those signs at his rallies? Sounds like he thought they were "the good ones". Clearly he's not familiar with conservative nuance.

He is having the day he voted for. Maybe now that he has touched the hot stove he can consider that the lies he has been hearing about other peoples of color might be more similar to his brothers situation than "they are all criminals except for my brother." I won't hold my breath though.

Even his comments here show an irredeemable nature as I'm sure his idea of "criminals" follows the same conservative "unless they are in my in group any person of color is likely a criminal" bullshit that they just love to apply to the world. Like a reverse benefit of the doubt.

He can't wait to call ICE on others but is surprised others see him and his brother as criminals through the same criminal lens. I feel no pity for this man, and only pity for the brother if he didn't support this shit. Otherwise he's just enjoying the fruits of his political endeavors and I definitely prefer when those consequences also fall on those who are not victimless themselves.

Did you know wage theft is the single greatest body of theft in the US? Larger than all other categories of theft combined. Like they are stealing so much of workers money its bananas. Wild to think about but a good table setter for the topic from my experience imo.

Heaven forbid you have the gall to entertain multiple offers. Just like they have entertained multiple applicants. Sometimes you get staggered offers and one ends up being a better offer later in the game. Are you required to go explain yourself to the lesser offering? Nah. If it's earned sure. Otherwise fuck that.

"Sorry I got something better." Sounds easy but these guys seem like vindictive shits that I'd argue are untrustworthy narrators. Absolutely possible the hiree sent a note but backing out at the last minute that was seen as an absolute betrayal to their seemingly mid offer... This reeks of their thinking they had a big one on the hook for cheap and they are mad it got away.

"Nothing personal it's just business." Is the typical unlubed response to the worker. I fail to see how these thin skinned twats deserve any better, especially with their response here. I'd argue this business deserves the treatment hiring such liabilities in their HR department are clearly bringing them by not dealing with this behavior. Job security for the lawyers I guess.

I understand your point, we should all generally try to be good and respectful to each other. My point is with the imbalance of power in the hiring orocess, propensity for fake interviews we know businesses use, AI use in the interview process, and general lack of respect for the candidates in the pool are all reasons i think you are holding yourself to a standard they refuse. All of these are just the tip of the iceberg of shit in getting a job.

HR and hiring reps do not generally deserve the courtesy unless it's been earned by being exemplary in demonstrated respect and such diring the process. Because for every instance of this, they've likely abused many more people doing similar things to them without blinking an eye. This is just manipulation.

Right? Democrats showed us exactly how they felt when 8 of their senate ranks swooped in on day 40 of a shutdown rightfully credited to Republicans that, after getting basically nothing for it, was blamed on Democrats for putting everyone through the pain and ruling over. Done with Dem leadership buyin, after finding 8 to oresent as turncoata who funny enough all arent up for reelection... The party of controlled opposition will never intentionally save us.

Dual-booting Win 11 and Bazzite while I figure out the flow for myself and whether I can shove off into the deep end without Win 11.

If you enjoy gaming or steam-related apps, Bazzite comes kitted out with most of what you'll need to be successful out the gate.

Aside from EAC-based games, I've found a lot of my games just run better without the Win 11 bloat in the background.

Exploring Windows alternatives has never been easier in my opinion.
