Same experience here. DNS server was omething like goooooooogle.com for me.

Blocking them made the devices malfunction, I believe the speakers werent fully aware of each other anymore, so speaker groups got messed up in all sorts of ways.

I use Bluesound speakers and modules now.

Aa a European, this thread reads like it's 2016.

Range is not an issue, nor is public charging. Yes, we drive long distances as well, it just happens to be cross-border. Fast chargers are nice for road trips, but destination charging is fine all other 350 days a year.

    I like the initiative.

But saying its like the www because it's open and available to all, is not a good analogy. The web is standardized, federated, and aligns protocols, technology, architecture, information together.

    Good question.

    https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/france-set-summon-russian-ambassador-paris-over-alleged-cyberattack-campaign-2026-07-13/

More details in Dutch News: https://nos.nl/l/2622866

TL;DR: Large-scale Russian cyberattack on IPTV cameras near military routes uncovered bh Dutch intelligence agencies. Germany, Frans, Finland, The Netherlands summoned the Russian ambassadors to their countries.

Edit: I will not share info on Russo-Chinese collaboration. Should anyone need sources for that claim, the my won't be convinced anyway :-)
