Adding onto this, I know Find My Friends is a big one for some Apple folks. Ive set up Traccar which is a decent self hosted alternative

Slap on an allthemods for Minecraft any day. Ive told myself I need to beat factorio and rimworld first before I do a modded playthrough (rimworld I did, but still chugging through space age). Otherwise I've really enjoyed the multi-player rimworld mod

Now this is my taste to a tee

Ive made something very similar for lunches the last week. Used red cabbage instead. Also had thin sliced radishes and cojita cheese. Very good

Sent this to my mixed political opinion discord. No responses yet. We'll see if anyone has anything to say. Doubt it tho

Self hosting is a fun hobby. I set Nextcloud up for myself and love it! If you're just getting in, I would look at a "NUC"-like mini pc to run services on. They are a bit more expensive, but you get better performance.

They must have renamed and updated it since the last time I looked. I'd start here if I were you: https://choosefi.com/essential-listening-guide

Happy listening! I might have to go through some of these newer episodes.

I learned a whole lot out of college from the "Choose FI" podcast. Listened to it while commuting to work. Go to their website and look up their recommended watch order and go from there. They have a lot of good ideas to get started.
