Yeh, alt accounts I guess. Or though in my head they’re one and the same because the username, email, and even password are the same…

Yep. It’s is the (nearly) end game of pure capitalism.

Which is why you see lately the attack on anything that is given or provided by government.

Because they want more of the pizza. They want it ALL.

And yet they are meat sacks like the rest of humanity. With all the strengths and weaknesses everyone called a human has.

Why are they special? Why are they allowed to hog ALL the wealth?

Because we let them.

Weird. ✅

Is it an alt account though? I’m using the same logins for both? Or is that purely on me?

Coming from Reddit to here is a bit of a change.

I'm on both. The Aussie and World ones. It happened simply because Aussie on required someone to approve my application. Whereas the Lemmyworld one was insta approval.

Serious question? Or trolling?

Both were after the fact though. Which I am sure they will have the court orders ready to go. But the livestream is another story.

Either way. It will be interesting to see what happens.

Eh? Why would we have it ‘live streamed’ anyway?

Besides that; All of our FTA tv channels will blur anything remotely confronting as a matter of course.

You tube is where you’ll get your jollies. And the Australian government can’t/won’t censor that…

I searched for it specifically.

I am from Perth. And the r/Perth subreddit was one of my most active.

Also as I am new here. With fresh eyes. It seems to me it’s got a few issues with the mobile presentation. I have found opening posts with media a hit and miss affair. So still a bit clunky. But other than that. It’s a lot like the reddit of 2000’s. IMO anyway.

Just wait. Reddit is quickly becoming more and more unbearable. I deleted my 9 year account because of this. I only found Lemmy and subsequently this page from looking for alternatives.

It seems to be getting traction. And unlike Bluesky. Is a lot more like the Reddit of old.

So just keep doing what you are doing. And they will come…

Glad to see a well thought out response!👍
