Deeper theorising: The drive for AI is both for surveillance and control using AI, AND for raising prices on computing gear so that the average person cannot afford to own anything but a terminal where their privacy and choices are completely out of their hands.

This is both backlash to a CEO being killed AND privacy actions digging into advertising revenues.

Sorry, meant UnifiedPush, NextPush is just the UnifiedPush app I add to my phone to use my NextCloud server as my notifications push relay. There are others. But basically allows you to self host notifications while only requiring the developer to integrate the api calls from the UnifiedPush push library.

Tusky and Element both support this on Android.

I don't get mad at shit like this, I just don't buy.

Rage gets you nothing from these pricing schemes. Letting the company go broke does.

I solved this problem, with regards to coffee, permanently for myself by getting a Timemore S3 and an Aeropress Go. All said that $200 CAD invested 5 years ago has save me hundreds in coffee bills, and now I can make a fresh cup at the campsite, road side, anywhere. All I need is hot water.

Connections that work at Bioware Montreal confirmed the issue was with trans content in Mass Effect.

This sounds like the studios "official" excuse.

    I Don't buy it.

I've been seeing a lot of startrek.website shares I do showing the wrong desc and image in the unfurl on the posts lately. It was a few of them a week at first, but it's become multiple a day now.

As the most recent example, the "Look at the time, its 7 of 9" post unfurls like this in signal:

Is this a known issue? Is there a better place to report instance issues? It kind of looks to me like UUID reuse leading to new posts displaying old images.
