Yeah liberals are discrediting their own system when they describe it as being forced to vote for a lesser evil under the threat of fascism every election.

Not to say all liberals describe it that way, but if I was a non-political apathetic non-voter, I wouldn't find that convincing.

There are loads of people who think you can't demand better from your elected officials. People were out protesting Mamdani for being a liberal zionist and I saw plenty of commenters saying how they must've been paid opposition because how could anyone be criticising Mamdani?

Bots did get taken out. A search engine's data centre got targeted. But it's the same thing that would've happened if it was Google getting their data centres blown up. What we haven't seen evidence for is that Russian misinformation bots have dropped off.

Every country with the means to is going to be using bots. It's just part of the political landscape at this point.

But to say that a privately owned search company uses most of their servers for Russian bots to sew discord across the world requires evidence. The current trend we just saw was millions of people partaking in mass delusion.

It is all anecdotes that can be explained by just a placebo effect. Actual bot farms (the kind of bots we're talking about) don't exist on search engine data centres. They're set up in poor countries running on multiple second hand devices using proxies. Bots do exist, but you don't get rid of them by blowing up a data centres used by a privately owned search engine.
