Unfortunately, the closest free fast travel point to the Cranberry Bog Treasure Map #2 is The Foundation location in the Savage Divide. So, I fast travel there, and then fast travel again from Foundation to the Ranger District Office — the Ranger location is in the top northern part of Cranberry Bog. The Ranger Office and the Lookout are dead next to each other on the map, meaning either is a viable fast travel pick. You could save the caps and slog there on foot, but I paid caps rather than 'run time' for the trip. Once I arrived at the Office, I headed west toward the Ranger Station. When I got to the fence, I went up and over. I could've gone a few more steps and simply walked through an opening, but I never really grew up. I ran into a fair number of Scorched, and I took a detour up to the station top for a Slasher mask. I found nothing hugely valuable or dangerous beyond a few hostiles and some scrap junk.

After the detour, I put the tower to my back so I was facing east. From there I ran along the dried-up riverbank, keeping it on my left. Once I came to a wooden bridge over the no-longer-flowing waterway, I crawled underneath it. The Cranberry Bog Treasure Map #2 is directly under that bridge, next to a patch of Brain Fungus — I hear it has adaptogenic or maybe hallucinogenic properties, either could be why I can't remember which... The treasure mound is dark brown with gray rocks in it. I filled my backpack near to bursting and headed to Watoga Station to settle up with a friendly vendor bot there.

Sixteen tools crammed into one scrolling list was starting to feel less like a Pip-Boy and more like a strip-mall directory. Reorganized the whole Resources terminal into grouped tabs — Daily Intel, Spawn Intel, Calculators, Guides & Trade — same split the real Pip-Boy uses for STAT/INV/DATA. New CRT housing too: scanline sweep, idle flicker, the works.

The Ghoul at The Last Resort bar told me eating Sludge Eye fish meat gave a sniper better aim, cause the sniper could then, "see through the sludge to shoot!" Dunno if it was the truth or Cooper havin' a laugh at my expense. Either way, the Sludge Eye fish was a rare and hard catch to land—being that I'd have to kill a bunch of Blood Eagles, wrangle enough superb bait, and fish for hours to get just one. Everybody knows I'm a sucker for rarities and odd bits, so off I went. I eventually bagged a keeper. As for the Sludge Eye aim improvement, well, let's just say the little bit of fish flesh I was able to gag down just made my eyes water. A lot...

My Minerva's Emporium page used to tell you where she is. It now also tells you what she's selling: this visit's plan list and the next one, with bullion prices at her 25% discount.

She works through 24 numbered sale lists, one per visit, and every fourth is a Big Sale that sells everything from the three lists before it. Next up is List 3 at Fort Atlas (Sep 28–30, 12 plans, including Chinese Stealth Armor, Chicken Coop, and the T-65 Stealth Boy), then the List 4 Big Sale at Whitespring Resort (Oct 8–12, 42 plans).

The lists are cross-checked across the Fallout Wiki, falloutbuilds.com, and Nuka Knights. Where I could only find a price in one place, the page shows a dash instead of a guess.

See it on the Pip-Boy page (Minerva's Emporium): https://fallout76er.com/#section=resources&page=minerva

I don't know if you've seen the Keanu Reeves flick Constantine, but I have. I haven't spent my entire life haunting the blasted ruins of Appalachia. I just ended up stuck here because I was at a General Atomics International: Modern Mechanics Expo in Charleston when the bombs dropped. In any event, when I ran across Old Sparky sitting on the rooftop of the main building at RobCo Research Center in the Cranberry Bog (just north of Watoga), I stopped short. This killing device looked exactly like "two hundred souls had passed through its wood and steel"—like to give me a raging case of the collywobbles it did! If you find it as you pass through the Bog, see if you're brave enough to take a seat and place your haunches in the well-worn indentations of former victims... I, ahhh, I was!

A kid in a clown suit mauled me in Morgantown, so I tracked down all 108 Pint-Sized Slasher masks. Ten of them are on or near a toilet. Nobody warned me about the outhouses. #FO76 #Fallout #Fallout76 #slasher

A weathered wooden outhouse at night with a striped-shirted corpse slumped on the seat, visible through a gap in the door; rusty barrels, a folding table and a striped umbrella sit in front.

After being mauled by a lunatic, mini-clown, I decided to track them all down and, ahem, waste-land them. I figured other wanderers could benefit from my hours of hunting 'Slasher-kids'. #FO76 #Fallout #Fallout76 #slasher

You know, you always hear old people say, "I don't understand young people today! In my day we were healthy, brave, clean, and dumb!" Or some other type of baloney talk like that. I heard it when I was young, and I told myself I'd not be that way when I got older. Well, we all know the saw about 'never say never'. While I was out scouring Morgantown houses for loot, I was viciously attacked by these tropes, along with a crazed pint-sized teen wearing a bloodied clown outfit, a red bandana, and wielding a fireman's axe. The whole time this hopped-up mini-clown was chopping away at me, she spouted dogma like, "Slash, slash, slash! Blood for the Slasher!" And "You can't hide from the mask!" After I put her down and searched her cooling corpse, I surprised myself by musing, "Teens today are into weird crap! When I was that age, I was interested in caps and showing my peers I had deathclaw eggs, not some homicidal cult!" Troped again. An odd note fell out of her pocket when I dropped her. It said something like, "The clown! The clown! He's going to kill us all," The note ended with a comma for some reason. Perhaps the writer had been distracted by a Fireman's axe...

I was sniffin' around Vault 51 up in the northern part of The Forest. As it happens, I found no rare or usual loot there, but I did happen upon a strange pair just slightly south and a fair piece east of the vault. A scientist and a soldier sitting in lawn chairs. They had assembled a small camp, complete with sleeping bags and a campfire. They babbled on a bit about how the other one couldn't find their Radaway with both hands and a headlamp. She was definitely the muscle and he was the brains, despite their mutual whining--I didn't kill either one. Mostly because I got a vague dead-man bomb switch vibe and they deserved each other for boring me.
