Hydrate my guy, there's not a single glass for water in there, just coffee cups. You need water, it's important for literally every biological function. Otherwise, no notes, respect the color coding too

Same boat. Strangely never seen it articulated so well and mirroring my own position in life so well. What I'm learning is comparison is the thief of joy. Meds haven't helped me in the slightest, and I've tried everything and been self medicating for years with alcohol. Don't go there, it can always be worse. If this is my baseline, I'll do what I can, if for no other reason than to prove myself wrong. The alternative is unknown, what I have isn't great, I want more, but why do I need that? Why would a different situation mean things are better? What is the reason I feel I need that to feel better? I've isolated myself from a lot of external influence. Did a "reset" of sorts for the last 2 years. Got back to what drove me when I was younger. Things I actively searched out. I got back into my hobbies. I play bass again. I got physically active. My baseline has been elevated since doing those things. I still have the negative feelings a lot, but my "lowest" doesn't feel that low anymore. Like it doesn't register so much if that makes sense. I still feel nothing or blank, most of the time, but it doesn't feel so heavy. It's like every minute of every day has been for a reason, and feeling guilty for taking any time for myself wasn't productive in a beneficial way. But I have found that's exactly the point. Be selfish in the little ways. Read a book over doing the dishes, there'll be more either way. Don't vacuum, there isn't a news crew doing an exposé on your life. Let the obligations slip a little at the expense of personal fulfillment. I'm in no way a happy person, but I've learned a bit to not care so much. This all ends with death either way. I'm so done trying to do better. I'm learning to do good enough for myself. I think the 10 year old version of me would see how things are, and be proud that I'm not giving in to those insane expectations. I've found a tiny sliver of personal enjoyment, fuck what others think and expect of me. I'm in this world for myself and nobody else. I hope something I said gives you some clarity that was hidden from you. I could use more people like me in my life.

My gf has the opposite, when she gets her injections, she detests any and all physical contact, about ready to bite my head off or break up with me. The week or so after, the polar opposite and wants nothing but affection, right up until the next round of injections. Not much different from a cis woman I suppose. This is a perfect example of why I want her to have her med routine overseen by an endo who specialises in transitioning meds. We're Canadian so it is covered, regardless we both have benefits that do cover it but she still prefers to monitor it herself. Idk, just pointing out your experiences may differ.

Well, last game was fallout 4 so... Kind of okay I guess? I mean I did side with the institute and all my settlements are maxed for people and have more than 150 in defense, 40 water at most, and over 50 food. So I have people, healthcare, an army (technically 2, minutemen)

This is the same argument they had with guns. If girls had their own pervert glasses, they could record the harassment going on. Similar to "if they had a gun, they could defend themselves" I genuinely hate that this is the hot button for a country that represents me than 10 percent of the global population. Let this place rot.

For sure. Idc what anybody else's opinion about that show was, it was so wholesome and amazing. And the ending was so good. Hiding that relationship between two female characters you'd already learned to love for who they are, understanding why bubblegum wouldn't accept finns absences suddenly making sense, huntress wizard, Jake and his family growth. What happened to humanity, finns struggle with honor, loyalty, and then finding out humans still exist? they really should make a movie. It was a little past my time, but once I watched it, I could see how its target audience could see that love is love, that nobody is wrong for being who they are, the actual important things to judge a person by isn't who they love, it's why they love and care about the people in their lives. So many subtle things about that show, as outrageous as it was, really showed that togetherness is what is so important.

I don't have have people that aren't family in my life. I actually don't even have that much family I speak to on a regular basis. She made this when she was 8 years old. Part of a group activity her mom took her to. A group of anyone who wanted to follow along to a Bob Ross video, we all know "the joy of painting". Anyways, she wasn't thrilled with the result. She said she needed more time to get it right. But she was 8. She wasn't in control of the environment, was using someone else's paints (acrylics) with a non prepped small canvas, nobody that day used wet on wet, no pauses allowed, real classroom setting. Anyways, she surprised me the other day when she was home sick from school. Her mother and I, no longer together. I was at work and got a snap notification. She had sent a picture, one she just painted. It was the same painting, done again that day. She controlled everything, the pacing, the canvas, the right oil paints. She didn't say anything, just sent the picture. Her updated and self taught follow up to the same Bob Ross tutorial. And I couldn't have been prouder. She's much like me, doesn't like to do things for performance, doesn't seek recognition or approval from people. Hates people commenting on what she likes to do. I know when I was in piano, I have recitals for that reason. I loved what I loved specifically because I loved it, I didn't need to prove it or show it off. If people commented, even positively, it would make me not want to do it anymore. I know she's exactly like me. So I never pushed her, never told her to pursue it and get better. If she liked it, she would motivate herself. But I, as her dad, can't help but feel proud of how far she's come (she only startedd painting again this year) after that fiasco at 8. But I felt like people needed to see this. I think it's the best thing ever. (I'm new at this so hopefully I get the new one posted here as well)
