Standard for a trumpet. He can deport their wives, insult them, wreck their livelihood, make fertilizer or the diesel to run their equipment unaffordable…and they still kneel and kiss the mushroom.

What ever will the multimillionaire farmers do!

Seriously, they voted that way because they wanted even more tax breaks and handouts than they already were getting. They didn't count on someone being dumber and greedier than they are. Fuck 'em.

It's because most farmers left agriculture after the Depression and the only ones left have 3 generations of "family farms" that are huge thousand acre agri-businesses which control local politics like petty tyrants. The farmers don't actually care because they are multimillionaires or leaving the business. That's the only kind of farmer left these days. No one wants to farm.

they said the same thing during his 1st term, they are hopeful he came around, but he dint. and the MSMs never reported the failures of the farms, we wonder why. if they did republicans would turn on the gop state in an instant. many farm ownsers did lose thier livelyhood and some allegedly suicided over it too.

Strange how the right is easily forgiven for crushing its voters base while people have no problem to harshly punish the left.

It would be easy to blame Mr Trump for the downturn; after all, he campaigned on promises to bring down prices and revive the heartland. But rural America does not. The president’s favourability rating is higher among rural voters than among any other group in our survey. Most still think he is doing a good job. In interview after interview with The Economist, farmers said they trust the administration—but that they need help to recoup the losses its foreign policy is causing them.

    Jiminy Christmas, these muppets.

The lemmings had been running toward the precipice for a long time. Back when they started others warned them: there's a precipice right ahead! They laughed and called them cowards. But after a long while, it became visible reality: there's a precipice up ahead and we're running right towards it! There were a few who wanted to stop now, but it was too late: neither their neighbors nor those pushing from behind listened to any of that precipice nonsense anymore.
