This was... Unexpected. It's a fun little mini game. I wish they had improved fauna generation with this update. It's gotten better over the years but it could be better still. If the animals were more compelling the community would be hunting for them more.

I never would have imagined we would be getting Pokemon in NMS.
Kind of neat about Iteration: Oceanus, I've got a feeling they will be expanding on adding more types of mini games with this new NPC.

The timing of this update is funny, as soon as Nintendo lost their patent for 'summoning a non playable player to fight for you', this drops. Ever Sean's been holding onto this one for a while, or Hello Games are on the booger sugar and absolutely speed running dev time.
