I've tried on r**** in the past and have had terrible luck. I'm launching a new startup and have a basic landing page but would like to make it more professional, inspiring, etc. I do not want to feed it into AI and I do want to hire someone who will feed it into AI.
I've searched communities for a hiring/designer wanted type place and have come up empty handed. Where do you guys go to find talented designers?
All the best, Internet friend
Fediverse, no idea, maybe you'll get some responses from this thread since lots of such people are looking for work. I would probably try Hacker News freelancer/available threads (first business day of each month) or even post on Craigslist if you're in the right area.

I think #fedihire is still an active category on Mastodon.
We are more on the peasant-side here. Still you can find some of the old "wise-one" in the dedicated communities.
