Trump has now crossed the line into barbarianism. Threatening cities to get political payoffs is a sign of extreme political dysfunction. If Congress doesn't act then the military will have to. It is unfortunate, but this administration has become a threat to the public.

I'm not religious but I feel like I'm watching the left behind series in real time minus the rapture happening.

This is exactly what the antichrist does in those books, smal pockets of the military resist but are ultimately defeated

Sad what’s happening to the US, and the guys followers are so far gone they’ll now claim this is exactly what I voted for, and they will keep repeating that all the way through the first they came for the illegal immigrants and those applying for asylum and I’m not an illegal immigrant or applying for asylum so I cheered it, then they came for…. Until they get all the way to …now they’re at the door for me, and there is no one left to stand for me.

“I think we should maybe start thinking about battleships by the way” he said at one point in the middle of a riff about tariffs. “I used to watch Victory at Sea. I love Victory at Sea.”

Good lord, can't someone tell these idiots what happened to the Yamato, after it contributed next to nothing to the Japanese war effort compared to their carriers, despite being the most powerful battleship ever to float...?

These things were already obsolete in WW2, we just didn't know it yet. Now they're extra obsolete, with armor being unable to protect from high speed missiles, and large caliber guns being completely outclassed by those exact same missiles.
