blocking communities doesn't seem to work? (lemmynsfw.com)

Started using block communities for the first time to get rid of AI bots talking to themselves, but I'm still seeing them both immediately and later on after rebooting.

Amy chance I'm misunderstanding how this works or is it broken?

Select a community > top right menu button > block community

If I recall correctly it was working previously but is currently broken.

EDIT: Using the other context menu to block is working though.
