We should be really clear at this point that the term "conspiracy theorist" was coined to discredit the JFK assassination questioners, and was then highly weaponized after 9/11.

Given what we know now, neither of those "conspiracies" are controversial at this point, amd the official stories surrounding both events should be considered by any critical thinker to be the actual "conspiracy theories".

Not all conspiracy theories are created equal.

As a millennial European, I had very little knowledge about JFK's assassination and the subsequent conspiracy theory (or theories, as it turns out). All I knew was from pop culture: "Lee Harvey Oswald" and "grassy knoll".

After listening to the You're Wrong About (podcast) episodes about the assassination, I don't think there was a conspiracy at all.

Do you or anyone here think we'll learn the full story around 9/11 in our lifetimes? I was a kid in the CT suburbs of NYC in 2001 and for a very long time even casually questioning the narrative was sacrilege enough to be socially punished. Now it seems like the generation born afterwards is making memes about it like it didn't change EVERYTHING about how we lived, and that's no big deal? I remember talk about the specific floor that was hit, or one above or below it, had held records of extensive government debt that were just "lost"? Because of the nature of the event and the subsequent conspiracies, it's hard to find level headed examination of how things happened and what we might still not be aware of. Like, iirc every member of the house of Saud in the US left the day before?
