Donald Trump’s new White House Chief of Staff, Stephen Miller, said the Republican Party is “more popular than ever,” just days after voters handed Democrats control of the House and Senate the midterm elections.

Miller said in his speech that it was “the privilege of a lifetime to join President Trump,” before adding: “If it wasn’t for President Trump, the United States of America would not exist right now.”

“This man saved America,” Miller said. “He saved our military from collapse, he saved our economy from destruction, he saved our border from annihilation and he saved our country from threats at home and abroad which would have been the end of the American dream forever.”

No, he’s something much more dangerous: he’s a bloodthirsty fascist.

He knows his words are false, but what he is doing is dictating reality to us; he’s making it clear how we are expected to behave, and that any deviation from said reality will be declared treasonous and terrorism. He’s saying we should treat the administration like gods who saved us from certain demise.

His only delusion is that enough of the population will fall in line over this. You’ve already lost the crowd, buddy. Prepare you ass for prison.

Ignore the evidence of your eyes and ears. Listen to The Party and toe the party line.

I'm fairly certain Stephen Miller truly believes these hateful things, he doesn't just say this because he's getting paid. The videos of him from high school are chilling. That said, I think this move is going to backfire on Trump, but there will be turmoil for the American people first.

They are going to pretend the midterms didn't happen because of the ego death they would sustain if they so much as acknowledged their own unpopularity. Get ready for the "you can't break up with me, I'm breaking up with you" phase where they get increasingly desperate and criminal. They are deliberately putting the people who might face jail in positions of power so that they will willingly commit more crimes out of self preservation. They are deeply angry that the American public "betrayed" them and will try to punish us for hurting their feelings.
