Most state capitals suck, but to be fair not all countries have winners either. You think tourists are lining up to take trips to DC, Canberra, or Ottawa?

I'm not from the USA but I actually want to visit Washington DC someday. Looks like it might have some interesting stuff to see.

People explicitly tour DC, until the Trump administration the Smithsonian museums were some of the best in the world. Hopefully the damage he did will be reversed

And then there's West Germany which purposely chose the shitty little Bonn to be their capital to indicate that it's only temporary.
