After reading the latest matrix weekly, i am afraid i must report that Sable has now also moved to Electron 😭
It stills seems worth using because it has some features that Element doesnt but its still sad.
At least they specifically reconfirmed their "no vibecoding!" stance.

For others that might consider it:

• As F04118F said it has support for sharing desktop audio
• Support for global mute/deafen/push-to-talk shortcuts
• Built in (optional) voice isolation filter model that can be used both for yourself and others (with noisy mics)
• A catalogue of community made UI themes
• SEARCHABLE SETTINGS MENU (WHY CANT ELEMENT DO THIS???)
• And so much more

From what ive seen it is missing zero features that are present in element and just adds a lot more on top of that. Generally the UI is faster, cleaner but also more technically transparent in some ways at the same time.
