I'm about to receive a Van Rysel D500 indoor trainer with a Zwift cog mounted and zwift click. Planning of throwing my hard tail on there to get started.

I would like to know if anyone here has some solid advice for starting out in the electronic cycling world? What works? What doesn't? What keeps it interesting?

Bonus: I would love to self host a little group of climbs on one of the many compatible software, but happy to pay a bit if privacy is respected. Any advice here is also appreciated :)

I prefer MyWhoosh, but I've used plenty of Zwift in the past. Or even GTA V 😂 But most spot on is towel and a fan along with second screen for whatever video content you prefer to consume (movies, series, YouTube, ...).
