It can be either one of two things allowing this to happen: a zero-day exploit in an office PC that hasn't been updated or secured, or... social engineering.

Not reading the article yet, but is it possible that this will be spun up as a defense on impeachment? I know people burn buildings to remove records, but what about online files being deleted/altered?
