I'm sick and tired of the dreary dismal weather here in the frozen Norf of Minnesota. The leaves are all gone and all the maples and ash trees are bare except of the pines.

The fish do not want to bite right now as we all wait for the lake to turn over and freeze. I can't wait to get enough ice to be able to walk or drive out there to fish.

It's too wet to go out hunting too. It sucks to get rained on in the forest. And it makes the scent conditions poor for the dog also.

The little birdies are huddling out there somewhere and not even coming out to visit my feeders right now.

All I've been doing is messing with a new CAD program I heard about. (it's a hobby) And finding all the weak spots in the program. Fillets are hit and miss if they will even work. I could manually draw them in, but I'm not quite there yet with the tools to do so.

I NEED some sun! I NEED some time out in the forest!

I’m originally from Iowa but I’ve been living in Los Angeles for the past 13 years. One time I went back to visit family around this time of year and it was so dreary that one day when the sun came out I literally hugged the window. You do adapt and take the sun for granted. All this to say that vitamin D might actually be worthwhile.

Vitamin D is something I take. But not right now because I'm recovering from surgery and supplements like Vitamin D and Iron or NSAIDs are known to inhibit coagulation and allow for more and longer bleeding post-op. A surgeon will request you stop taking such things a least a week before and after surgery these days.
