This happened on the National Mall in front of the reflecting pool. He spoke about his "success" renovating the reflecting pool, including a bunch about the pipes. Utterly disconnected from reality. A true "emperor has no clothes" moment.

The speech was awful.

    Wait, I thought that image was a complete meme, not that he actually greenscreened the reflecting pool for the broadcast!

    Edit: I'm a bit of an idiot, it's not a gray wall, just the water reflection. It looks a bit miserable, someone really should paint it blue or something

    I think that's just the grey sky reflection you see on the photo. Looks weird due to the tele lens.

    The video shows him walking around and driving around the pool in his limo
