I mean, I agree I don't watch them either because of the reason mentioned in my original comment. But I can still see the value this offers to all the people that do actually watch them.

    I'd personally put more value in pushing people out of their comfort zone towards watching entire performances done by the actors and learning to read subtitles quicker.

    Kind of funny that I watched Dark in German, but if it were an english production German people would be watching it dubbed.
