I have the choice of using the factory-installed radio receiver on my rc car, but since the wrong brand of recieved was installed from the shop, I decided that rather than tossing the entire thing, I'd change the receiver.

Crazy how transitioning from one brand of rc reciever to another made it work with my controller and that made things way more enjoyable and I no longer wanted to throw it away.

This is why we should be allowed to choose our own radio receiver brand and model when we build the rc car, rather than have someone who doesn't know a thing about you choose one based on car parts. Like you can tell from parts what kind of rc transmitter someone is using based on what size pinion gears they bought lmao
