Do some rich people only wear designer clothes? Like, is everything they have in their wardrobe designer, even down to their socks and underwear?

It's a question I've always had.

To clarify, I mean both old money and new money, from high-level millionaires to billionaires. And when I say designer, I mean across the entire spectrum. Not every designer brand is loud and famous like Gucci. What I mean is, do these wealthy people ever buy clothes, underwear, socks, etc., from stores like Walmart, Target, and other regular retailers, or is everything in their wardrobe designer?

from what I've heard there's a style of sorts called "quiet luxury". Basically no huge branding, look simple, but more of a timeless look. Look up Celine or "the row". typical clothes that look simple, have a major reputation among old money people, and yeah looking at thousands for basic clothes that... well quite simply don't stand out.

If I had fuck you money, I'd hire a seamstress and have her create a wardrobe out of quality fabrics. Im an Amazon though and I've always been bitter that I'm too big for women's clothing. It would be worth the investment because stuff would finally fit me.
