I guess you'd better start with building an appropriate theatre ; don't worry, just follow "Pratica di fabricar scene e macchine ne‘ teatri" and you'll get set up in no time, with gods descending from above, devils surging from the bowels of the earth and other high seas tempests (with monsters) - all the normal things you need in any decent opera.
