A large-scale survey has found cats fed vegan diets had lower rates of obesity and related health problems than those fed conventional meat-based diets.

In nature, certain nutrients are only available to cats via eating other animals. However, we are capable of synthesizing all those nutrients in a way that they are able to absorb effectively at this point.
