And predictably they’ll blame dems who retake power, limited by states and federal positions held or regained by voters voting republican because they still like THEIR guy but not the others, there will be veto power so nothing can be done in Washington, but it will be the Dems fault that all Trump’s policies and republican economic programs (destruction of social programs, funnel money from the non wealthy to the wealthy) continue to work their way up the ladder of economic classes until they stop at those who benefit from the wealth transfers.

    At this point I’m unsure of any path forward in the US politically that will end in making things any better in the short term. I’m voting still and everyone should, but I fear it’ll either be what you said or the fascists seize more power by calling fraud and cheating. L

    They'll blame Dems because Dems never do anything meaningful about it, and the centrists won't do anything this time either, as you can see from the Slotkins and Schumers of the world telling us we have to fund this new illegal war because "we're in it now", while ignoring the war's effects on the poor and middle class.

    The only hope we have for meaningful change is the two dozen or so DSA's that are electable now precisely because the Dems are so blatantly and openly corrupt.
