There's this stupid incentive in the Netherlands now where people with an EV charger can get ERE certificates for every kWh they charge, which they can sell for money to the government (I believe). Oil companies then buy these certificates so they can pretend to be green.

And of course everyone with a charger wants this now (you do need a charger with certified meter), because for them it's free money.
