If you need to boil water on the stove but you want to minimize heating the house/apartment, boil it in the kettle or microwave first then transfer to stove (toast.ooo)

Some food preparation can’t be done fully in the microwave, this has helped me minimize radiating heat into the apartment during hot days lately.

don't we have induction cooktops or standalone induction hotplates (which is what we poors use) and a lid on a pot ?

its not just heat but the toxic shit coming from your gas cooktop
