I'm concerned when you say the new ones were from Sears. Sears closed in 2005....

    I mean, it's no longer "sears" though, if you get my meaning.

    You're probably better off buying from Amazon or Temu at that point, but personally bowls from a quality store aren't too expensive anyways given how much use they'll typically get.
