Turns out, the rest of the world is not sympathetic towards yankees when their chickens come home to roost.

And it turns out, the rest of the world does not care about yankees being shot in the streets or put in cages, because what is happening in the US today is what the US was doing to everyone else yesteryear. All they see are the chickens coming home.

The yankees got what they voted for, now choke on it. A better world is possible, but the US has to go.

If you don't like it, do something about it. Yankees are also the people in the best position to do something about the suffering the US causes, both to themselves and to the world. They have a world historic responsibility to fight for that better world, or die trying.

How lucky, that they get to be the ones to save the world, if they would just fucking do it.

They pay taxes to it. They sell their labor to it. They buy commodities from it. The empire relies on their complicity to even function, without their participation they could shut it down. Their complicity can't be handwaved simply because they're unhappy about it.

Even now their country is basically starting WW3 and the streets are empty. Where are the protests? Not a peep.

    Maybe they haven't suffered enough.

Kids don't pay taxes or any of that.

And there were protests, record breaking ones, and guess what?

People sat around saying it wasn't enough and wouldn't amount to anything and that protests were pointless.

You have some real privilege to think that people have enough resources to just stop working for months, long enough to shut the whole system down, and some real ignorance if you think that's going to be enough.

Real innocence if you think the bastards who live here will just take it, or even stay here.

It wouldn't take months. They did it in Minnesota when ICE started killing people. It was literally one day of no work, no school, no shopping - tens of thousands in the streets. And guess what? It lead to it lead to several resignations of prosecutors and Trump appointees, and ICE deployments retreated to pre-surge levels. Real, concrete results when people took to the streets.

But now the streets are empty because everyone is just waiting for the Midterms; they think voting will save them.

Maybe it will. Maybe Trump won't be able to rig or cancel the elections, and then a divided government will make Trump a lame duck president.

Just don't be shocked when voting doesn't work this time, and be prepared to learn from the Minnesota general strike. Workers run the country and they can shut it down whenever they want, they just have to be organized enough to use that power.

It's all pointless anymore though. Rich people still and will still own everything, everyone's going to hate your average citizen even if everything gets fixed because it happened in the first place, people will still cheer about kids being put into cages on the right because they are racist and other people will cheer because "they're Americans they deserve it." We can't even agree or organize in a small Internet community. The Left can't take any criticism and see it as an attack so our side becomes stagnant and inept through purity testing.

So yeah you're right we all deserve it regardless of our age, participation, action or attempts to rebel or fix it, everyone's a monster.

Yeah well unless you specifically see it, then the flight doesn't count, does it? "It's only a revolution if it's televised". When there was protests and shutting stuff down, you say that was effective but everyone says it's not enough. You all want blood in the streets, and for more Americans to die.

Tactically I can see why people aren't taking to the streets, because any major overt action can and will be used as an excuse to shut down voting and used as ammo for political campaigns.

But don't pretend you want to build us up and that we're heros, you want us to suffer and be oppressed so what do you care if people aren't rising up? We deserve it, after all, you said so.

For the sake of other countries? You already say we're selfish so you shouldn't be surprised we don't do anything. Not like any other country is going to step up and stop the military. You are fine with us throwing our lives against the US military but wouldn't do it yourself.

But yeah, the average person is working multiple jobs, can barely afford food and a place to live, of anything happens in the street we're be crusted with crippling medical debt, and now, people like you, are telling us we deserve it. So don't try to turn it around and inspire hope, saying we're in the belly of the beast, right after you're saying we deserve every terrible thing happening to us. You're glad we're being oppressed by a dictator. You're fine with kids being locked up and innocent people shot, because to you, they are the same as the fat rich conservatives.

So if you, and anyone reading this, really want people to take to the streets, maybe stop saying every American indiscriminately deserves to suffer, and maybe quote Che more and actually try to inspire. Maybe help out. Maybe indicate to your leaders that you'd like your country to help out of a rebellion happens.

You probably won't though, you'd rather be punitive, because to you, we're all the same. And fuck me for saying that's not true.

Oh hey, people already took to the streets. Nationwide. The largest protest in US history.

Let's see what sympathy we've garnered so far

The yankees got what they voted for, now choke on it. A better world is possible, but the US has to go.

All they see are the chickens coming home.

Their complicity can't be handwaved simply because they're unhappy about it.

    Maybe they haven't suffered enough.

If that's how you feel, then why would you want people to fix this country? Why should we? You think we haven't suffered enough. You want more people shot. You want more kids in cages. You want more spies everywhere. You want the people of the US to be punished and suffer indiscriminately, regardless of age or situation.

You're happy with the chickens coming home to roost, and you don't care who suffers for it.

Agreed, the America we have is a pile of donkey shit, but I didn't shit that pile. Most of us didn't. Vent your anger elsewhere.

America is not a nation. There are indigenous nations, but the idea of an "American nation" is a fiction to justify the ongoing process of settler-colonialism.

    There are indigenous nations

fwiw: the ones that survived and are still coherent/organized enough to still be considered a nation represent a cultural/social/linguistic minority in north & central america -- an overwhelming majority no longer have a nation to claim as their own and the trend becomes stronger the further away from the anglosphere you get.

in other words: either the united states or mexico are closest thing they can identify with as part of a nation and this phenomenon is most prevalent in the american southwest and northern mexico -- geographically & broadly between salt lake city and mexico city.

and it'll forever be odd to me that the worst colonial settler examples that the world had seen thus far in the anglosphere resulted in the most intact and cohesive indigenous nations that are still in existence today while the relatively tame -- but still outrageously inhumane -- settler colonialism practiced in the rest of the latin america has relatively few such indigenous nations still going today.

To quote a famous Georgian political activist and philosopher, "a nation is a historically constituted, stable community of people, formed on the basis of a common language, territory, economic life and culture." The US Empire is a settler-colony, and as such does not constitute an actual nation, though it is a state with citizens.

Given how many countries the US has victimized, it's at least a little comforting to know they're getting some of it turned back on them.

They had a chance to make things better, unlike so many other countries. They had it good for decades, only to blow it all up for some narcissistic, billionaire pedophile. Fuck em.

That's what happened already, only on a lesser scale.
And again, more importantly, it didn't inconvenience the white libs.
I bet you don't know any of the names killed by ICE under many presidents from either side of your uniparty.
But you specifically mention "people shot in the head for nothing".
I know exactly who you mean, those 2 dead white people were the outrage and big news.
So fuck you hypocrite and your selective indignation.

Yes you've heard it before because people know you're a hypocrite.
The huge amount of brown and black people killed before are 'the most obscure reasons' for being angry?!!!
Man what a total POS do you have to be to say that?
And then pull some mental gymnastics to claim you don't ' think of these people as non-American'.
I'm going to block you because you disgust me.
And burn in hell with the rest of your hypocritical shithole.
    Fuck you all

I'm saying that purity tests for outrage are stupid. If someone just got mad about something that everyone is talking about? Good. Welcome to the club. Saying that they shouldn't count because you were mad before or heard about something that they didn't? That's shit.

    makes sense.

how many times have you been told to stop voting for the political duopoloy, but you still kept doing it anyways or -- worse yet -- not bothering to vote at all?

how many times have you been told to start using green tech to mitigate climate change's impact, but just shrugged your shoulders when your gov't effectively banned green tech and maxed out fossil fuels nonetheless. and did you vote for them anyways because the red team was slightly worse for the world -- not just the united states -- than the blue team?

how many times have you been told that your media has chocked fully of propaganda but never bothered to change your media consumption habits while decrying all other media sources as propaganda?

how many times have you been told that it's not a coincidence that all the us empire's political enemies are "authoritarian" hellholes, but you still accept the lies that your propaganda keeps telling you despite the fact your government had already effectively admitted that are lies decades ago?

this i-told-you-so nagging is annoying, but it's the only way to keep people aware that they're choosing this enshitify their own environment, society and future just so that the epstein class can keep their control over us.

the only assholery on display here is the presumption that they're powerless and the re-enforced misinformation that you're spreading here.

history proves that the people can be just as powerful as the epstein class — and that's exactly why they expend so many resources keeping you from ever doing what that nagging tells you to do.

no one said that the epstein class is not powerful and the fact that the nagging has to exist proves that here is no morality police anywhere.

also, history has already given us the benefit of hindsight to teach us what works and how to unfuck ourselves as a result and both it and the nagging agree with each other on what americans can do as individuals -- right now -- to start effecting change.

Cool story bro, and way to miss the point.

please consider going back to reddit -- it's clear that you'll be much happier there since you fit in so well with them.

doing all these things on a personal level also didn’t do much to help as far as i can see. i get conflicting propaganda now, and can maybe see accidental glimpses of the truth more often, woohoo. and i pay more for the privilege, but as lest i actualy have the financial mobility to make that choice. makes the nagging much more shrill.

the epstein class has been forced to reveal several times that collectivism is the only threat to them and all of this nagging directly points out to how the epsteins prevent collectivization from happening on an individual scale.

the nagging points to the things that you -- as an individual -- can do to ruin the epstein class' day.

and collectivism will make you understand why & how doing it will ruin their day so that you can take it a step further than just ruining a single day.

and i have done these things, and i see no difference.

you push for individual culpability through othering and alienation to force collectivism, absurdity on nonsense.

just the notion alone that in order to achieve collectivism one must alone shoulder the burden of systematic change separately is oxymoronic and a waste of time.

do you just assume that people don’t do as you say because they are inherently evil? they actually seek their end?

all this nagging does’nt seem to be convincing me to agree with you after all

The nagging is the bare bones minimum that we could do and, as such, it has little impact by itself. (but could if everybody did it).

Couple it something like protesting like Americans used to do during the civil rights era -- ie the opposite of no kings rallies -- and you get the same winning combination that Mexico had in 2017 -- which lead them to permanently breaking up their own political duopoly and giving them president Sheinbaum.

I'm not a fan of the nagging partially because it's a last ditch effort but I can appreciate that's the only step you can take to get people to do what morality, responsibility, and basic human deceny requires them to do.

The other reason I don't like nagging is because it's clear by that point that you will not be convinced by reason or logic. Instead, history proves that nature has a way of forcing things and either climate change or catastrophic economic bubble is going to do a better -- and significantly more painful -- job than the nagging ever will do.
