It's a laundry list at this point.

Now, I gotta give the caveat that 95% of the porn I see is communities from fedinsfw.app that pop up when they're new, and then I block them. The "fappening" radically shifted my personal tolerance for porn, and the standards I have for it, so I end up not using it very often. It's become a turn off almost entirely.

But, part of what I dislike is the obviousness of the fakeness, and alongside that the lack of ability to believe any of the performers are actually having fun. There used to be porn where, no matter how badly filmed, or if it had a story or not, the performers at least tried to be believable.

Since it all feels so empty and mindless, it makes all the trappings of incest, "dominance", and even amateur role play just bad. Like, I'm so far past done with all of it, but the shit with someone putting their foot on the face of the person they're fucking? Why? Why is that in so many gifs that get posted? It's awkward and stupid. How anyone can see that dozens of times and not have their immersion break enough to lose arousal, I have no idea.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not kink shaming. Like what you like, that's okay. It's the inundation of bad kink videos that's my pet peeve.

I'm just tired of the spitting and the fake moans and the artificial and poorly done sex talk.

And, again, there's the reality that it's really difficult to tell if everyone on screen actually wants to be there. Some performers are public enough that you can know they're doing it professionally, and that's great. But most of them? It's obvious they don't really want to be there, even the men. Yeah, they're maybe enjoying some of the sensations, but it's still empty. And I just don't enjoy that at all.

It seeped into "amateur" porn as well. It's impossible to hope that anything billed as amateur isn't just a job they're doing, desperate to escape the capitalist hellscape of reality by fucking on camera. This is rantish, I know, and i swear I'm not shitting in what people enjoy, what they like to do. It's the porn of it that's just so damn badly done that it becomes disgusting. Or akin to watching footage of an insect mate. And that just isn't enjoyable to me
