And they've managed to swindle this in such a way that I can't even appeal denied claims because they do this in such a manner: the claim is considered invalid from the provider's side until the provider follows an appeals process for every single claim (which many of these providers cannot do). They don't have the resources to go through an appeals process for every claim, which requires their doctors to actually be on the phone with United.

They're not dumping health insurance altogether, they're just shrinking the coverage.
