"Jaywalking" is a made up American crime.

A pedestrian existing on a street doesn't justify a driver running them over.

The guy on the quad could have stopped if he feared an accident.

    I know, and I hate jaywalking too. I'm just applying to them what they apply to us. It's only fair. If I was doing that same thing (save the spikes) and got run over, I'd still be (partially) blamed for it.

    I thought jaywalking existed in UK. Now I know. Lucky 10000, ig.
