As a starting point, the burning of fossil fuels, and to a lesser extent deforestation and release of methane are responsible for the warming in recent decades: Graph of temperature as observed with significant warming, and simulated without added greenhouse gases and other anthropogentic changes, which shows no significant warming

Dr. Adam Kalkstein is suing the U. S. Military Academy, where he was a professor of geography and the only climate scientist, after being fired.

it's worth pointing out that in the rhyme of history, Nazi Germany deported, exiled, and alienated a lot of Germany's best and brightest scientists right before launching an all out imperialist assault on every other nation there was.
