Anyone have success propagating Monstera Adansonii? (lemmy.world)

I've propagated a dozen different plants but this one just won't happen for me. I'm using all the methods I've had success with elsewhere and always end with a dead vine.

I've tried right into soil, right into water. Letting a cutting dry overnight. Dabbing rooting hormones on it. Sharing a cup with other rooting plants. Nothing!

So if you've had success, what did you do? Did you find it any harder to propagate than others?

That sounds like my standard method! Sitting right next to the parent so I know it loved the conditions. I'm even struggling at my "prop station" with grow lights.

I feel like I could throw cuttings from any other monsteras on the floor and they'd somehow find a way to root so I'm starting to wonder if this plant is just an outlier.
