I'm always so confused by this meme. They are driving in the opposite directions but facing the same side.

    Imagine you are in the middle of the street in a civilized country (meaning traffic drives on the right side).

    Face either side of the road. Traffic goes from your right to your left.

    Now turn around, 180°. Traffic goes from your right to your left.
