Also is it possible to export your playlists in any way? One of the ways Spotify keeps me "captive" is by making it difficult to export playlists so it makes migrating difficult. So I would be tempted to move to another streaming platform but I would prefer to stay in control of my playlists. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion, metrolist looks really neat. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 3 child comments replies: [–] FlashMobOfOne@lemmy.world 2 points 5 months ago Also is it possible to export your playlists in any way? Apologies, but that one I don't know. permalink fedilink source parent [–] AvocadoCumToast@lemmy.zip 1 point 5 months ago (1 child) I know you can sign in with your youtube account. You might be able to port them to youtube music and then see them in metrolist if that makes sense. permalink fedilink source parent hideshow 1 child comment replies: [–] Tetsuo@jlai.lu 3 points 5 months ago Now that I think about it, if the playlist are indeed stored on Google's servers, I could probably also use google takeout to require my personnal data. It's what pipepipe/newpipe uses to dump subscriptions from YT. permalink fedilink source parent
