Why can't electric cars come down in price like TVs do

    I mean, they did come down in price / km of range quite drastically in the last 15 years. 2011 Nissan Leaf could barely go 160 km on a charge for $32780, while the 2026 Leaf can go almost 500 km for $29990. It's like a three-fold decrease in terms of $/km.

    I know the prices now are down probably like 70% from 10 or 15 years ago
