I wish to make high quality animation. The machine is more than 15 years old. What are the upgrades required for making such a machine suitable for making high quality animation and for working on Godot ??

@dohpaz42@lemmy.world l think you've understood my problem perfectly. I'm thinking of an 8gb ram, Ryzen 3, AMD gcn 4th generation, 512 GB SSD.

    If you can afford it - given the recent high-cost of ram - I’d recommend at least 16GB. Otherwise, make sure your motherboard can support more ram for when costs come back down.
