But it's also probably about accelerating privacy-invading data collection. Just look at all the bullshit in Windows 11 with AI hoovering up all the data, watching the screen etc. Personal data is the cloud-gold of the 21st Century, and all the big companies have been hoarding it as much as they can for a long time already.
