The taste will always be.. special. Using a high-end vaporizer, you can set a very exact temperature to ensure the molecule is vaporized, not incinerated. Using direct heat like a lighter is less precise, more prone to burnt product -- which negatively influences taste.

Ideal temp is 160°C - 200°C. Where I live I can safely buy disposables online lol.

But you could also do it with a dry vape, the toaster chamber type. You'd need an accessory glass pipe that fits into the toasting chamber of the vape. The good models usually come with them.
