Anybody know anything about gear motors and where to search for them? (lemmy.world)

I've been tasked with finding gear motors to replace a model that we use. If I'm looking for something exact, I can usually find what I need, but if I have a margin of error for what I need, it gets harder to find what I want.

As an example, I need a right angle gear motor running at 90vdc. Fine so far. But I can use anything around 1/7 to 1/10 HP, and approximately 90 RPM with a decent margin of error both ways.

We don't care where it comes from, but I don't even know where to look.

Steppers Online or McMaster-Carr is where I typically start.

Sadly stepper online doesn't have what I'm looking for. McMaster has everything, but they're very expensive. In this case, they don't have exactly what I need, but close. It might do as a last resort, but I will keep looking in the meantime.

Thanks for the help

When I'm faced with challenges like this, I ask an expert. In this case, Stepper Online seems like a place to ask.
